Use a Variety of Question Types

Each question format plays an important role in exposing knowledge gaps and creating those valuable AHA! teachable moments. Depending on which game you choose, you have several different question formats at your disposal:

  • Multiple Choice

Use Fill-in-the-Blank Questions

So let's go beyond the typical multiple-choice format and explore two examples of our favorite, more engaging question types. We'll dive deep into each one and share effective strategies for incorporating them into your games.

Use Preview & Summary Slides

Another thing to consider is using Preview Slides that hook the audience from the start, giving you to ability to use a mix of text, video, and photos. This will help "set the stage" for your question and get people excited to dive in.
